Has anyone tried one of the $100 dollar aftermarket ebay hood bulges? Did it fit and look decent?

I have one and it is starting to fade. I have had it about 18 months or so. I put ppf film on it but it is still fading. I have an OEM that I have sitting in the garage to replace it with. I also have ebay painted door handles and they are starting to fade on the top too.

I bought that one and it does not match MGM. It's a lighter gray. I returned it.

Mine is broken, only being held on by the pushpins and the one bolt in the middle.. I taped over the grille insert to keep the wind from popping it up, so far that is working. I have one on order from toyota, but who knows when that'll come in.

I've bought several, they are garbage. My next one will be OEM

Just to echo everyone else's experience, I ordered one a few years ago and it did not hold up well to the Texas heat. Didn't help that it was black either. Was replacing mine due to going from chrome to color matched. Have since replaced it with OEM (sparks parts) a couple years back and have no issues so far.

I do still have the eBay one sitting in my garage and have considered giving it away if someone's willing to pay for shipping or pickup. But I don't know if I could live with myself by perpetuating shoddy product out in the wild like that. I'll probably just toss it.

I purchased this one about a month ago to use temporarily until my OEM one arrives late December from the Toyota backorder dilemma. It seems pretty high quality ABS plastic, there are a few small imperfections in the plastic that you can only see if you are really searching for them at certain angles.

It hasn’t really seen much sun/heat so haven’t seen any warping yet that I can confirm is an issue with this brand but fitment and color seems good.

I’d probably just keep it on if I hadn’t already ordered an OEM one that I’ve been waiting several months for already.

I also replaced the clips that it came with and used the green clips from Amazon that others have suggested work better than OEM clips.
