Any advice on dump trailers? Looking for one that can hold maybe 3 tons of gravel.

I've been using my utility trailer for years but even though I try to just get 1 ton often more gets placed in there than it can handle.

I'm checking craigslist and internet and see some used but looks like there can be a lot of watchouts to consider that may not be on my radar yet...

Maybe call one of the rental companies or a cleanup business and see if they will tell you which ones are reliable. They may even sell used ones from time to time.

I bought one two years ago. I got a H&H 12 footer. I looked at the used ones and they were all beat to snot. The cheap ones are just that cheap. Carry on was best of the cheapies I found but be prepapred for rust rather quickly.

Once you have one you won't believe how many friends you have.
