Drivers Side A grab handle parts kit warped handle

    FC1743D3-6444-4C71-8762-935D61EC6892.jpg I installed this kit today and noticed the handle is warped on BOTH ends.

    At first I thought maybe the bolts were too tight and I knew I didn’t tighten them that much. So as a precaution, I backed the bolts off a lot and the handles are still warped.i purchased it from Sparks.

    Those were two different subjects. The other was about the curtain tag. This is about a warped handle.

    A little bit of warping is normal. I thought I had an issue when I installed mine until I looked at the right (factory) side. Both have a small equal amount.

    Mine is warped, too. It’s so bad, the lower bolt cover or cap that snaps over the bolts is frequently hanging open when I go out to my truck in the morning.

    Maybe a new cap in that spot would help. Anyone know if one can get just the little piece that snaps in place over the bolts?

    My original grab handle was replaced under warranty because of discoloration, but the caps were fine and I've still got it laying around somewhere. I'll see if I can find it and check if the caps are in decent shape. They're all yours if you want them.

    Got the part numbers off of mine. This handle came off of my 2013. See if the part numbers are the same on your caps. The first picture is the top cover.

    I just bought a used DS handle off eBay that's supposed to be like new, at least for something from 2013. It was alot less than the ones people are having issues with. We will see.
