Question for everyone. I have a 2012 Tundra Rock Warrior bone stock. I bought it in June with 13k miles on it so I bought a new used truck. My question to everyone is that my drivers seat makes popping noises and moves ever so slightly. I noticed it about a month after I got it. I have checked the seat frame and it is good and tight no movement at all. My seat has adjusted thigh thing for the seats and when it is up it makes more noise and even though I like it up for comfort I leave it down so it doesn’t make as much noise. I have looked all up under the seat and I can’t tell if it is the seat cushion itself or if the slight movement is coming from the track. The seat has manual adjustment front and back so no electrics are wore out to allow slippage. So does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on this issue? I have not taken to dealer for obvious reasons $$$$ and was going to take to a local auto upholstery shop and see what they say but haven’t yet. Has anyone else had this issue or is it just me? Thanks

Welcome from WI. A 7 year old RW with only 13K on it is awesome! If there's little movement in the seat cushion I would guess that you have a loose bolt either in the track or under the cushion that's moving as your weight shifts on the seat. The easiest way to get a good look at the under side of it is to remove the four bolts holding the seat to the floor and tip it straight back. It should be able to rest against the back seat, just be careful of stretching any wiring to tight. There are several bolts under there attaching the cushion to the rails and the rails to the tracks.

That is what I kind of figured I will try that tomorrow but with the stories of seat bolt I’m almost scared to ya know what I mean. And this is the only I pic I have currently available but I will put up couple more tomorrow. Not. Big fan has f the running boards because they stick and are lower than I like but does make getting in easy for wife and kids.9629B457-2E86-4B92-BCF2-5B1C6747F6CA.jpg

Thanks I do enjoy and they are too low for my taste and are actually sticking out quite a ways so will be replacing them at some point with something more suiting of the RW

Many options out there, have Nfabs which are nice. Check out the Tyger steps, priced well. One option looks like sliders and the other are square tube. Worth a look.

Interested in what you find. Mine has a similar "rocking" but the seat bottom bolts are tight. Mine has a power driver seat though. I'm going to be checking all the seat bolts when I strip the interior for audio install.

That is where my seat rock is at and I looked and it almost seems like there is play in the track like the stop holes are bigger than the stop rod is but it is very hard to tell and here are some more pics of my truck B9054276-8106-46AC-88AC-98FDE534DFAB.jpg1B0C7979-2EC4-4BE2-BC43-1C7F7EA87778.jpg54E36887-8777-4E41-BC70-5C54FF52B212.jpg

Thanks for the additional pictures. As I said before, nice truck. Very clean. I think the Tyger sliders would look great on your truck. They would definitely fit the Rock Warrior theme and keep the "step" from dragging when your off road. There's my 2 cents :D
