So recently I swapped out my interior lights on my 2019 tundra for LED bulbs and now my doors won’t lock until the interior lights fade out. Is anyone else out there having this issues? And if so does anyone know how to correct it? It’s not really a huge deal considering I can wait 30 seconds to push a button to lock, but it’s just annoying. Thanks

There should be truck options in your head unit, there are settings for auto lock when you reverse or go into drive, also to turn on/off auto unlock (super annoying!)

Not sure about the locking portion but in Tech stream you can adjust the light fade.

This sounds like noise interference from the leds not allowing your truck lock signal to complete....

I had same issue, make sure your cargo lights don't come on when you open the doors. No issues after that.

    This.

vled released an update to the cargo lights to filter the noize. The quick fix for me was to switch the cargos off and that fixt my problem till they developed the noizeless bulbs.

Thanks for the help guys. Looks like it is the cargo lights. Vled lights will take care of this issue?

Yes, the newer version they're offering will fix the issue. You can also look through the thread I linked above and there are a few cheaper brands from Amazon that will also work without interfering with the fob.

Thanks for the post. This was driving me nuts. I was also going to take the truck to Toyota as well. It's interesting that interior lights don't cause problems too.
