Door Ghost Projector Lamps

Anyone ever try something like these? Too bad they don't say Tundra....

My neighbor just bought a set, they look great, but he has a 2018 and they are for a 2nd Generation.

 

I would be into it if they weren't that image. If it was the T (not the curvy one on the grille) in red I'd put it on the list.

I don't have lights in my doors. It thought I was going crazy so I just went out to look. No door lights on my 2015

 

Crazy like:
-Would be a really cool mod for my doors?
or
-Wait, Tundras have lights in their doors?
or
-Do I have lights in my doors?

 

Ordered and installed, fairly easy. Two of the four needed "prong alignment" work, would not go into harness correctly. thinking poor QC. Can't see during day, fairly well at night. My 16 yr old who drives it likes them.
The bottom of the front doors cut part of the image.

 

I've seen the tundra ones somewhere out there.

My '13 CM Limited doesn't have door lights.

 

That is odd. My 07 SR5 has them but your newer Limited does not? #Pudge doesn't have them either

Did not see Tundra, but did see TRD. These are projector only. But looks like something for those without door light.

My CM Limited has red reflectors in that location. Might have to do with the full length storage bin on the door bottom. Or might just have to do with the bean-counters at Toyota trying to keep the cost down.
