Sharing my latest attempt to mitigate the dog hair that collects on the carpeted underside of my backseats. (We have an older yellow lab...she gets cab privileges)

This is window “blackout material”...comes with Velcro strips. Easy to cut with scissors and handle. I put it on a few weeks ago and thus far it is doing what I had hoped. Should have done this years ago. Was tired of the full-on fight to vacuum off the hair.

A few pics of what it looks like installed.

    Happy Friday!

Good idea! I have been thinking about buying some of that temporary carpet protection film that you put down when showing your house or whatever. im going to order a small roll and see how it works.

Interesting...I have seat covers but the fur still sneaks through.

Now does anyone have tricks to protect the doors from claws and drool?

The best thing I've used is a pet hair lint roller for your clothes.

Good Lord, I hope not. Need to save money for fuel.
Any tips on how to get Great Dane furs out of the headliner fabric?

I had a 4Runner that I used to cart my Great Dane around in. I saw the guy I sold it to a couple months later and he said it took him forever to get the hair out of the headliner... good luck.
