Does anyone now a reputable Toyota shop head cracked gasket needs be repaired

    I bought a 2007 5.7 engine 4x4 Toyota Tundra 1 years ago I found out it had a blown head gasket and needs to be repaired does anyone know a reputable mechanic shop that specializes in Toyota in Southern California

    Are you sure what you were told is the problem? Normally, we refer to a head gasket as being "blown," whereas the head itself is referred to as being "cracked." There is much more involved in the latter, in both complexity of repair, and of course in price. A shop that will repair a blown head gasket won't necessarily have the wherewithall to repair a cracked head.

    But I think you'd have to have had the head removed for a definite diagnosis of it being cracked. So hopefully it is your gasket.
