Was just browsing through Amazon, and I would really love a TRD Pro look-alike headlights.
The Alpharex Nova series are a bit expensive for me right now.
Also, I really dig the foglight feature where it has lights for DRL.

If you do have any of these light setups, can you let me know how they perform? How they've held up through time? And how bright are the lights...

    I appreciate any input.

Link for the headlights are here:
    https://www.amazon.com/Alpharex-Seq...lights-replacement/dp/B08Q7J2RYD?ie=UTF8&th=1

    Foglights:

    See pictures below:

I think the blacked out look would really make my front end more badass.

do a search of that headlight name in the search box, upper right and you will get some hits, there are some threads about them here.

A little more and you can have OEM Pro lights. To me it’s worth it. I have read plenty of problems with aftermarket to keep me away.

True, and those Alpharex on Amazon look like Alpharex knockoffs too. I really dig the switchback DRL and acts like turn signals as well.

you can also do: "<search term> site:www.tundras.com" in Google wihout the quotes. <Search term> is what you are looking for without the carrots

    It would look like this:
    Alpharex site:www.tundras.com

So just based on all the search techniques ya'll gave me, I've found some thread and basically indicating that there's a real Alpharex, and some "Alpharex's" that just carry the name but not real? lol
I guess all of these headlights are just a generic Chinese product that's rebranded to whatever company is selling them.

Can't find any more info on the foglights though, they just look cool.

    lmao they are all fugazis!

but that's the reality of modding, it's hit or miss on the aftermarket products you use. but hey at least it looks cool right? lol

For fogs, same thing. A little more and OEM or little more DD SS3. I did Pro headlights and DD SS3 yellow fogs. Awesome light out put.

Okay @50Shades I'll help you out here and try to keep this short! Everything Alpharex is rebranded products by a company called VLAND in China. They buy enough units to allow them to have custom labeling and badges on and in the light housings. They then ship them to the states and mark them up as a different product. If you don't want to pay Alpharex pricing for the same product you truly don't have to, but you miss out on the "prestige".
    Ex: https://www.vland-official.com/coll...-toyota-tundra-2014-up?variant=31764906639469
As for it saying that they're not compatible with 2019s I am not sure what that is about. At first I thought it might be a connector issue with the LED headlights, but they started in 2018. I would say compare parts lists with similar listings on Amazon, but they'd probably be fine. I still know that picking up a set of used OEM LEDs is going to be your best bet dollar-to-performance.

I went on a little bit of a tear about the aftermarket headlight situation starting here if you cared to peruse that: https://www.tundras.com/threads/new-led-headlights-tundra-pro-style.61059/page-5#post-2395549

As for the fog lights please don't spend the money on those. I couldn't find much on this manufacturer, but the size of the heat sinks in the back told me most of what I need to know. Output won't only be low, but it also probably isn't focused worth a darn. Either save up for a set of OEM LED takeoffs (they pop up here and I sold mine for $100 on ebay), or save a little more and step up in performance to something like the Diode Dynamics SS3.

I'll put you on my "truck mods list and where to get them" haha

Wife has pre-approved me of 1 mod per month based on our budget. And I already used up September with the tow mirrors, so headlights and fogs will be for October maybe?

I ended up getting the VLAND's based on that thread. but you're right, the OEM would've been the way to go, but in Hawai'i, no one has take-off's, and shipping a set of OEM's is as much as the lights themselves :bananadead: I'm compiling some pics and trying to figure out how to disable my '15 turn signal DRL's, then I'll post some pics. so far, I'm digging it though.

Save the extra $100 ish bucks more and get OEM is my honest opinion. I am a firm believer in the buy once cry once mentality. You may get lucky, or you may not.

Edit: I probably should've read the entire thread before posting this, but yes, OEM and DD fogs is money.

Update: So the day after inquiring about these lights, I didn't know wifey had purchased them for me as a surprise. Arrived 2 days later and without hesitation, I installed them right away.

    Pros:
    Lights look badass
    Build quality seem really good
Can't even tell they are not OEM
    Packaging was really good
    Sequentials are awesome
The foglights have 4 extra LEDs that act as secondary DRL's
Super bright headlights and a huge upgrade from my SR5 halogens.

    Cons:
Alpahrex DRLs suck. Maybe because they use a milky white color lens or their LED diodes for the DRLs are not bright enough. With that being said, the sequential feature also suck in broad daylight. can barely see them at all! Morimoto XB seems brighter but OEM still wins. Can't beat that.

    20211001_181218.jpg 20211001_181314.jpg

Conclusion: If you like function over looks...OEM headlights win. Period. Only in low light or cloudy conditions the headlight DRL/Sequential is very visible.

Exactly the comparison I've been looking for. I only wish the OEM headlights would come with sequential turn signals, just like the Tacoma.

The sequential switchbacks are really cool. Just wish it was OEM-bright. The XB seems brighter but I'm not paying 1500$ for an assembly where you cant switchout the bulbs if they fail, because XB is all circuit board lol. OEM wins.
