I’ve really tried hard to like the way the 22 Tundra looks (exterior) but man…it just looks weird to me. Not a fan.

Nope....that thing is ugly as hell. Now it has a recall and stop sale.

I want to like it but not a fan. I don't thinks it's awful.

I do like the look of the interior.

One recall was the halogen headlights but the stop sale recall was the power steering issue. Forgot what it was but I sold mine to an auction before that and the purchasing dealer couldn't sell it until it was fixed.

I really don’t care. I think I actually do like the looks, but that is WAY down the list of criteria it must meet for me to buy it.

A truck is a tool. It’s utilitarian. Does it fill its purpose (towing, hauling, exploring off the beaten path) at a price point you are willing to pay? If so, WHO CARES WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE?! :bananadead:

A tiny smattering of steering racks. Toyota, overly cautious as usual, sent notices to every single owner who had a vehicle with that rack that was either built after Aug 5, 2021 or who might have had it serviced by Toyota after that date.

Ok the recall for the headlights was 18 and up. The power steering recall only affected about 150 racks from 07 and up. The recall had to be created as a way to find the defective serial numbers.

Just having fun. To judge it purely on looks as this thread implies I think they look nice with some wheels and tires and a little more aggressive stance. The only thing I find truly repulsive is the tailgate and rear bumper. What were they thinking?

The person who did the styling definitely was thinking more was better and may have overstyled it a bit with too many lines and angles going every which way. Sometimes less is more.

Yes…I’ve seen it in person. It looks just like a Titan to me, butt ugly front and back. Interior a big step up though.

replace the bumper and color match the surround, makes it look much better IMO. The drive experience and the interior is by far better in every way. The exterior needs some mods to make it not fugly.

The interior is nice. The exterior styling looks better to me in person than pictures. That said, I don't hate the styling, but I don't love it either - it's a bit too much for me. The model/trim/etc.. definitely contributes to liking or hating the looks. The styling wouldn't stop me from buying it - thankfully I won't be in the market for a while ("knock on wood").

I see zero resemblance to a Titan. I’d say it’s closer to a Silverado

It's grown on me. I like it, especially with some mods. In person vs pictures makes a big difference. I liked it enough in person that I ordered one.

I love it. I think it's the best looking Tundra yet, when in the right package of course. Just like the 2nd gen, looked great in the crew max but ugly as hell in the double cab. But that's my opinion, and the great thing is, we can all have one. If you love it, buy it. If you don't, then don't.

I like it in person a lot more than in pictures. And, if you put a nice, clean aftermarket bumper on it and some bigger tires, i think it looks great.

I thought the 1st gen Tundra was a great looking truck and still do. It's aged very well. So well my wife and I almost bought a 1st gen Sequoia 2 years ago instead of a GX460, and I still regret that decision sometimes.

The 2nd gen is not great looking IMHO. I think the 2nd gen is the least attractive of all the tundras..

There is a SR at my job. Its white and with all the black piece it looks ridiculous. Not to mention the guy put some red Fuel 20" wheels that stick out about 2". Then he proceeded to install a 2" front lift and nothing in the back. Truck looks nose high. The roof line looks too low making it look weird, Chevy anyone. The Stevie Wonder meme is perfect for whoever designed this truck.

I like the way the third gen looks, I didn’t even consider Toyota as an option until this new one came out. To be honest, I think ALL of the previous gen tundras are ugly.
