Im new to this so didn't really know how to search topics for 3rd gen tundra warranties. I just purchased a 2023 tundra a couple months back and got 2 warranties for total of about 5k. One was for rim and tire damage, if they cant repair they'll replace. also includes tow truck, key phone replacement and programming, and free dent repairs. The second warranty was a bumper to bumper for 10 years that covers everything factory didn't cover as well. they also mentioned there was a change in factory warranty that limits what is actually covered so I got worried. But my main concern was if the bumper to bumper was even worth it, or either of them for that matter. Also took into consideration the turbo to later find out there has been some turbo issues with the new tundra's. What's the thought on this matter from you all?

Hey bud. I'm going to suggest canceling all that stuff they sold you! Especially the Wheel and Tire warranty...Its a total crock. We had the same warranty on a Honda passport and it was a fight to get it fixed the rigt way. I have a contact I can send you if you're interested. I bought a 10yr-100K Toyota Platinum warranty for $1,545. This is the 3rd time I've gone thru this dealer to save money on my warranties. Some dealerships just like to price gouge!

Sent you some good info. Check it out and then make your decision on if you should keep your original warranty or canx it.
Remember that you have the option of canx and getting a prorated refund if you are beyond the 30 mark or a full refund if before the 30 days.
    Enjoy.

I went with a 100k/8 year bumper-bumper warranty because they rolled over my warranty from my 4Runner trade-in. It was an extra $180 or something..

Okay....just joined the forum so I could get Jerry's info. Gonna pull the triger today (I think) on a 2023 iforce TRD off road that has 3700 miles on it. A littler nervous about the whole hybrid thing. What's the good warranty for those trucks?

    Standing by Jerry:

    Thanks,
    M.

Jerry gets a huge flow of referrals from this forum... Just look at how many people are asking for his contact in the extended warranty thread... However since he's low margin, he's probably making same amount commission from 5 sales as my local Toyota guy from 1 sale.

Sounds like this particular story does not relate to TOYOTA FACTORY extended warranty, but more to other add on services that some dealers sell. I didn't run into a dealer who tries to sell anything more than extended warranty, but I'm sure there are plenty around... Stuff like windshield protection, gap insurance, wheels damage protection, dent protection, lojack etc

    From the article:

According to the charge, Toyota Motor Credit sells products, typically at a cost of $700 to $2,500 per loan, that offer protection when vehicles are stolen, damaged or require parts and service after warranties expire.
