Tonight I went to do an LED upgrade on the instrument cluster lights. Just the main ones that are T10 and the one T5 for the main backlight. I was also replacing the drive and the one below it. The drive light circuit appears to be bad because the bulbs work in the other spot I replaced but not the drive spot. None of the lights work for the main backlight areas. I know LEDs are polarity specific and I switched them multiple times trying to get something to light up but none of them do. How do I get a new instrument cluster and does that mess up the mileage etc or can that be programmed?

    Can the circuit be replaced?

    Imma keep it stock
Ebay, salvage yard, private seller parts truck. Here's the kicker, they are NOT all interchangeable! You'll need to use a cluster with the same part number as yours!
Here is mine for reference only:

Yes. The milage is stored in the cluster

No, but the display can be swapped. https://www.tundras.com/threads/tacoed-tundra-project.130491/page-5#post-3350713

    Probably

I need to slow my roll on coming here for help I guess, LOL. I always forget to check fuses and found one in position 25 that is blown. The diagram does mention instrument panel lights so I'm crossing my fingers its EZ fix. I'm going to buy some fuses on my lunch today to see if that changes anything.

For your 2002, curious if it was the Dome fuse, given that’s what controls backlight bulbs. The others are protected by the Gauge fuse.

As for your drive spot, did an incandescent work before starting LED changer over ?
Worse case the gear shifter or park/neutral switch has an issue, given that’s where the voltage is derived to the D bulb itself.

I didn't buy LED for the D light after watching a YouTube video where someone had trouble. I bought OEM bulbs and only had the one below D work. I swapped bulbs to check and no change on D light.

The dome light is working so not sure if you meant something else...
