Hey 2022 and 23 owners... quick question. Is there mud flaps on the 3rd gen Limiteds? Im currently waiting for my 23 to be built and curious as my 2014 has them. Dont see any photos of them on the new trucks.

Some do and some don’t (all depends on the build of the allocation that you get)…but it’s available for the limited models if that’s your main question.

Welcome to the forum by the way.

I bought the ones from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9RKHF8K?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) for my 1st 23 and liked them. Harder plastic, etc. I then bought the ones from eBay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/374388684436) for my new 23 for less (they take offers) and they are softer and more pliable. Just my observation anyway.

I added them to my 1794. OEM ordered from Sparks. I'm wanting to say you have to have the TRD package to get the flaps.

How do they do at protecting your power running boards? I just ordered some from Sparks. Hoping to keep most of the rocks, snow, and road crap off the front of my power running boards...

My 22 Limited came with them. I took the front ones off as they are rubbing on my new wheels.

I have a 3” front lift with 34” tires. My SR5 didn’t come with flaps and now you’re making me think there may be some rubbing if I add some on.

Do you still have your front ones? Willing to sell?

I took mine off when I put 295/60r20 wheels and tires on and the offset pushed my wheels outward by almost 2”. The wheels are to blame for the rubbing. If OE wheels are used there doesn’t seem to be any rubbing. I am hoping to put the front flaps back on once I get a levelling kit installed.

Old offset was +60, new offset is +15.

Old wheels were 18x8, New Wheels are 20x8.5.

Ok gotcha. My offset is +18 size 18x9. I guess the only way to find out is give a try.

I may have been better off getting 285/65r20 tires which are a bit narrower. Or just using the OE wheels with a 295/70r18 tires. I just don’t like the wheels that Toyota decided to put on the Trd off road package in Canada!

As stated earlier, the TRD package comes with the mudflaps. Otherwise, you will have to order on your own.

Its Adams Tire Dressing. But the key to getting it so uniform and shiny is the rubber cleaner and a scrub brush to prep.
