Saw you on the dedicated thread and responded. Should work fine.

Easiest way to find the wire (I think) is to remove the door sill cover at the driver seat. Pull the wire harness open and you’ll see a couple of pink wires. One of those is the circuit for the bed light. I used a posi-tap to tap that wire, and the puddle lights work as desired, coming on with the bed and interior lights when the button in the key is pressed, and turning off after :30, or when the lock button is pressed.

Any link where you purchased the lights? And maybe a little write up of installation?

No i ordered universal because I don’t have oem puddle light mirrors I had to drill my own hole which I used a 1 1/2 hole saw that I picked up at Home Depot for About $8 then I bought a 2 spools of 16ga wire one Red and one Black and I fished it thru the mirror the mirror has a little square on it that pops out and makes it easier to install the new wire in your mirror then I chased it thru the door and thru the grommet between the door into the cab and spliced it into my footwell light so when I unlock my truck it turns on my PL and it dims off just like my interior lights very satisfied with how it works way brighter then the oem toyota Puddle lights
