If your like me and enjoy saving money and DIY projects you might like this. I bought my Tundra used and realized when I put my topper on that I didn't have bed rails. I was able to see a friends and realized they look oddly similar to unistrut construction rails. Here’s how I made my own bed rails fir my 2017 Tundra.

    Items needed:

10 ft unistrut ($30 at Lowes)
    Some M6x 1 screws
    Some large M6 washers
A M6 tap (if your bed was sprayed with liner like mine i had to clean out the bed rail threads).

    How to do:

-basically cut two 4ft 7” sections of unistrut (1 for each side)

    -clean out bed rail threads

    -paint unistrut if wanted

-Install unistrut in bed rail section

Super easy. Cost about $35 compared to $125 from Toyota. Takes about 30 minutes
