Seen a couple of these around and it seemed like a nice convenient way to have a fire during fire bans without lugging around my big round portable fire pit, but I'm cheap so I didn't want to spend $175+ for a lavabox or whatever.

edit: need to find a different hose that can handle the heat better than the rubber one.

    parts:
    50 cal ammo can
    hose with adjustable regulator
    3/8 od copper tube (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JFQXL5Z?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_QDB1HJMQY7JAZDY0YMYY)
3/8 tube to 1/2" male npt fitting (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JQ78LV3?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_7JSYN91HDB1WYMRRACE2)
1/2" female npt to 3/8 male flare fitting (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0041NPBYW?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_1HDC8XDAVYD8GP92RD6B)
    expanded metal mesh (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbil...n-Plain-Expanded-Metal-Sheet-801417/204225783)
    3/4" washers (home depot)
1" aluminum angle and 1/4-20 hardware for legs (home depot)

Total cost under $100 and I have enough copper tube and mesh left over to make 1 or 2 more.

Can you cover the steps of how you built it?
