I’ve done zero mods. But I think it came from the factory with something done. That’s part of the reason I’m joining this forum. Want to learn more about my truck.
Hey guys. Today is the last day I believe to get dirty deeds budget system at a big discount. Correct? My question is for this that have the system. The site says it’s an aggressive sound system. Can anyone elaborate a little. I want my truck to sound better. But I don’t necessarily want the neighbors getting all red in the face every time I pull in at 1 am from a fishing tournament. And I’ve never experienced this “drone” phenomenon, so can someone explain how bad the drone may be with this system. I know it says it minimal to non existent and can only happen in a short span through RPMS. But any info would be appreciated. I need to call him and get my payment in ASAP if I’m gonna get the system. Thanks.

Its loud. It has no mufflers. I had his 6 inch mufflers on one kit, was a little too loud for me and bought an 8 inch kit which is much better.

Its based on personal preference. I had 6in standard system and was alittle loud but when i put on the resnator it got pretty quiet. The Resnator takes out alot of drone from 1600-2000rpms. The budget system is more aggressive but tolerable. For the price you cant go wrong. Only thing i can relate is that my dad has a titan and he has a 14" magnaflow and its definitely louder then my 6in system

I’m still taking the stragglers if anyone wants to get in still. I have like 8 guys to call back that I missed yesterday. The count is 42 I believe. Guys whom have made a deposit already will likely have a balance left of basically only pennies!!!760-877-4234

So I got my budget exhaust in the mail Thursday. I’d like to thank dirtydeeds and his whole crew for getting these in the mail so fast. I thought it was gonna take a few months for some reason. Anyway. I got it installed today and I was worried about it being to loud for nothing. Whoever said everyone has their own opinion was correct. I was worried it would be too loud because several posts I’ve seen said it was a bit too loud for them. But I love it. It’s pretty much perfect for me. My buddy who helped me install it (he’s a mechanic by the way) had me convinced I was gonna regret it because there is no muffler. But he actually changed his tune when we finally fired it up and I did a few laps around the shop. He was pretty amazed that it wasn’t louder. Anyway. I just wanted to share my experience with the budget system. Thanks again DD. Your the man.

Without the resonator it is loud because of the drone but once you put on the resonator its a totally different exhaust in a good way.

That makes sense. I’m no expert at all on the subject. But it’s perfect for me personally. I love driving my truck even more now than before.

Oh man. I just bought a new 19 CM. I’m probably at least a month out on being able to order but maybe a 8” :notsure:. I had the budget on my last Tundra and don’t want to go that aggressive again. I need to get on YouTube.:help:

I would love to Keith but I’m in training today and tomorrow. If nobody has jumped in to set it up by tomorrow morning then I will send you a text to get things setup....even if I have to miss the GB myself.

No hurry. It’s a little early for back to school. But a good head start isn’t a bad thing. If we had it running headstrong by Aug1 I say we’re ahead of the game!!
