Because we drive my truck a lot. Especially at night, in all weather. Lots of country, highway, dark road. The extra lights for bad weather is what i prefer.

I payed regular price and it was so worth it. So much light output! If you are not satisfied with the current light output(like i was) then you should get them. You won’t regret it

i dont really use my fogs that much, but i really like the cutoff of the new style fogs. I'd probably use them more (or just leave them on).

Do you ever get flashed from oncommers because of the light output?

Only if you aim them too high.

No, not at all. There’s a cut off line with a little bit of spilled light. However, when aimed correctly, the spilled light isn’t bright enough to have cars honk at you. This will be the first mod for all my future cars.

Ok just curious if the pros are really worth the extra money or not. I work gave yard and drive in the night but my drive is only 12 min from the house. I think the sports should be fine especially for $170 pretty hard to beat that. I got my $30 refund today as well from lightwerkz.

Are you guys pulling the whole fog light assembly bezel and all out for install? Or just unbolting the light from the housing/bezeland installing the SS3’s from inside the bumper?

    1. Remove the small section of wheel well.
2 unplug the the fog light
    3. Using a Phillips head, undo the bolt and the fog light will fall out
    4. Assemble fog light kit, screw it back on, plug in and then adjust !

That was my plan I just saw a couple people taking the whole bezel out just curious why there were making more work for them selves

    My steps:
    1. Loosened the bezel from the front with a trim pry tool (starting at the top)
    2. Unplugged the light
    3. Pulled the entire assembly out
    4. Unscrewed the one screw holding OEM light
    5. Pulled out OEM light from housing
    6. Installed new DD light
    7. Installed OEM screw
    8. Secured new light to housing with a zip tie to prevent vibration
    9. Plugged light harness into new light
    10. Popped the bezel back in from the front

This took 3 mins per light. No working from inside the wheel well or removing fender liners and clips. Easiest way imo.

I got the Sports and I'm very happy.

mine are In not sure if they are aligned to low I’ll check at night. The Toyota bezel is junk so loose I have to zip tie the brackets to keep them from moving around. Noticed it when I closed the driver door.

That’s what I’m finding out. What a horrible design. My passenger side wouldn’t even throw a straight line or jet the fog light tilted. All good now I’ll test them tonight on the way to work

Just got around to snap a picture of mine. White pro fogs are amazing.

I just bought a set of amber pro's. They work great in the extremely thick fog we get here on the MS Gulf Coast. So much better visibility. Glad I went with the pros.

Is it possible to access the fogs from underneath if the skid plate is removed? Just wondering if there is a way to avoid playing the whole game with the wheel well liner clip

I’ve pulled the liner off more times than I can count and never broke a clip. Use a flat blade to lift the clip to push them off the clip at the fender and they won’t break. With that being said, you’re not going to be able get them out without removing the liner because the mounting screw is on the outer portion of the bumper area.

Thank you for the explanation. I’ll just try to be careful and methodical when I remove the liner.

remove the 4 screws, the 1 12mm bolt, and the pop clip at the frame. Once those are gone, you want to put the flat blade under the black piece of the fender at the two clips to the bumper. As you gently pry that black piece up, pull the whole liner away from you, towards the truck and the clip will release. Do the same for the other one. I promise you doing it this way will not do any damage to the clip.
