Decisions, decisions...Lightwerktz has them on sale now( I think today is last day). Can’t decide if I should get the sports or pros, white or yellow. I have Morimotos Amber XBs right now, and also can’t decide if I should make the change to DDs SS3

Just tossing this out there: according to CrashBurn's tests, the stats on the Morimotos amber are lower (128 lux) than the stock Toyota led fogs (192 lux) :anonymous:.

Morimoto ambers are a downgrade from stock lol. Go SS3 Pro and live with no regrets and a much safer vehicle

They were actually an upgrade, I have a ‘15 that had stock halogen. I am leaning towards the pro @Danman34

Jumped on the DD SS3 train!

Got my Pros in the mail today and got them installed. Adjusting them wasn’t that bad, but I may still need to tweak them a little bit. I just need to find a level spot and aim them to a wall. I’m very impressed with lights, output wise and they feel they are quality made.

So I bought these because of the sale. I was planning on doing the OEM headlights first. I’m trying to decide whether or not I should put these on with my stock halogens.

EZ PZ. I got them lined up to where I know they’re below my headlights but I haven’t seen them at night yet.

Going on in two days and these are much more sturdy feeling than I anticipated. So happy with the weight and feel.

Mine were the same. I guess it was sealed but they must've change the way they inspect prior to ship.
Im guessing whomever handle the shipping order last, must open, verify, sign off and send out. To ensure you do not get the wrong part?
Everything is sealed inside but the pod did not stay in the "display" window. Instead, all parts were place under the window lid. Pods were sealed inside bubble wrap. All hardwares inside zip lock bag.

this was my experience as well, also on original box label ‘clear’ was markered over for lens color, everything looks tip-top though, just need to find a spare couple hours to mess with them

I just installed mine tonight and I just say, I’m very impressed with the Pros.

I had the BD squadron sport clears, but I changed my mind to these and have no regrets at all.

Install was very easy. The hardest part was undoing the fender liner. Plus I found out my UCA’s were leaking also.

    overall, I’d highly recommend these!

My tundra isn’t my daily driver, so last night was the first night I got to see my lights. I’m blown away ! They’re so bright and nice! They yellow is awesome!!

The only problem I have is they are aimed way to high.
Does anyone have a good rule of thumb for how far away the truck should be from a wall vs how high the fog beam should be? probably going to adjust them at dusk tonight
