So I have a 2012, stock halogen housing with upgraded bulbs, stock harness. I have the DD SS3 Pros in amber for fogs and was trying out a DD SS30 combo light bar.
I did my best to Lock the exposure. I think I did not have the white balance 100% dialed in, so everything came out a little bit more yellow looking than I might have liked, but the amount/quality of light was undeniable!
    Needless to say.....it was dope!

    X2!

I bought the 42” bar on BF and now thinking about swapping the fogs to the max. Bar is amber. Trying to decide white or amber for fogs.

I am a huge fan of all things DD. I would personally wait on the Max lights. They are cutting edge in terms of, all things new come at a higher cost. I believe you can get a better bang for your buck with more Pros or adding in some light bar. Just my thoughts.

I’m leaning towards the white max. I bought 42”amber combo. I use the fogs 80% or more for my commute. Lots of rain and fog. I don’t want all amber but it does help. Do the whites match factory led color for headlights?

You can order them from me as well if you'd like (I have myself convinced that I provide better support than Amazon :D), but yes those are the correct ones!

I have a sale going on them right now as well (link in my signature and a reminder the 16+ Tacoma kit is the same one as the current gen Tundra). Not sure which ones you're after, but yellow pros are still on hand, and I am waiting for stocking orders of everything else (approx 1-2 weeks out). Supply chains have been in tough shape this year!

What vendor did you order from? Placed mine through Lightwerkz.com last week and they still haven't shipped. I was told there was a two-three week backorder.

I ordered from Lightwerkz on Christmas Day. They shipped on the 28th. UPS has had them sitting at a hub about 45 mins away from me for two days now.

Thank you. Read through the first 8 or 9 pages. I am pretty sure I’m going white SAE max. Then use my amber bar for dark rain/fog commutes when needed.

@JoshR324, yeah I ordered the SAE amber pro fogs and the SAE white pro driving lights. I received email from them confirming order but was told of delay. Go figure.

@Clemshady gotcha. Maybe it’s those driving lights causing the delay. Hopefully you get shipment notification soon.

All of us DD carriers have been hurting in terms of being able to maintain stock. I have a bit of good news for you anyway... Production of SSC2s is slated to kick back up on the 11th, and unless something changed a lot of the SS3s should catch up this next week. They were without packaging! If it's not one thing it's another... :bananadead:

Just a shade more patience and I am hoping that everyone can have some of that DD goodness in hand sooner than later

... I do have ONE pair of pro yellow fogs left :hattip::rofl:

Got mine installed on my 2009 Rock Warrior. These must have been designed for 2nd Gens with steel front bumpers. It is physically impossible to put one of the allen screws through the side of the bracket and into the LED housing. There is a plastic tab in the way, I was able to remove the factory shroud and bend the tab enough to drill a hole to allow access. Just a heads up to 2nd Gen owners.

Found a little more info the shrouds are different for steel and resin bumpers:

Just got my pros in and will be looking to install them within the next few days on my ‘21. Question about the zip ties and vibration - right now my OEM LED foglights don’t seem to have any play at all. I don’t notice any movement while driving and when I push on the bezel and foglight they’re nice and secure. Do y’all think I’m going to need to run zip ties? I keep reading it’s a known Toyota problem, but as of now mine seem secure.

I have installed a lot of SS3s in multiple different Toyota vehicles. None of them required additional support to prevent vibration.

Interesting... Well full disclosure I haven't done but a couple of Tundras (mostly Tacomas and 4Runners), but I'll be likely dropping a set in my Tundra this weekend. I'll see what I find!

I just installed a set in a 2012 that originally didn’t have fog lights. Has anybody found the adjustment screw nut and cap sold separately or an aftermarket equivalent?
