Hey all, I reached out to Diode Dynamics and they told me their fogs are only designed for stock ride height and to reach out to the forum for help.

"Thanks for those photos! Because the truck is lifted this may be the culprit as these are designed and fabricated for an OEM ride height. You may be able to checkout some forums that can give ideas on workarounds however, there is not much on my end that I can recommend on a vehicle of that height."

these bastards are pointed way too high. Anyone else experience this and have a fix? I have billies at 2-2.5" in front, billies in rear.

@memario1214 have you ever heard of this? Are the brackets non-adjustable?

    Welcome,

Unfortunately there isn’t much room for adjustment. I have a one inch lift in the front of mine and I don’t blind anyone. Yours do look very high from your pictures.

You may need grind or sand the inside of the plastic brackets (fog light housing) so you can point them down more and attach some zip ties (awesome trick I learned here!).

Ok thanks, I have the zip ties in place but I'll pull them out and see if I can get more adjustment down. Just to clarify, you recommend sanding down the fog light bezel at the top from the inside?

Yes, please take this as an assumption based on what I observed with mine…

Sanding the top and possibly side of the bezel where the top of the DD light extender (old school, school bus light cover looking thing) should allow it to be tilted further down. And the zip ties would obviously help it stay point downward.

I'm on a 6 inch lift and these do point pretty high. There's some adjustment you can make to keep them lower. Avoid the urge to make the housings flush with the bezel. The larger the gap, the more you can angle the lights down.

That said, I dont really get flashed by oncoming drivers. For the most part, the light is out of their eyes until they're within a few feet.

I got everything where I wanted, then zip tied to keep them from bouncing.

this is solid advice. I had to keep a small gap between light and bezel before I tightened it all down and it helped drastically.

    Nah, they're adjustable.
    THIS is the way.

If you loosen the side screws a bit you will notice that the light can be slid back and forth in a little channel in the bezel. Pull the light all the way back in the bezel, find your aiming point, and then push them as far forward as possible at which point you can cinch them down.

    Thanks for the input @memario1214
My right side bezel is pretty loose so I'm going to order another and give this a shot

Both my bezels were loose in the bumper cover. Zip ties are your friend here. Mine are tied down tight to the fog light brackets behind them. Zero play now in the bumper covers and no light bouncing when driving over rough roads.

+1 on this. installed SS3s last weekend. i used 3 zip ties for each fog ... significant difference in aim (lower) after sungging them up. forgot to take photos - sorry! this video shows the bottom zip tie location.
