Do you need to buy the differential fluid that has the limited slip additives in it? Since the Tundra isn't a real LSD, I didn't know if it needed it or not.

auto LSD isn't the same as a mechanical LSD. auto LSD simulates the the operations of LSD by applying brakes individually to the spinning wheel. with auto LSD system, you do not need LSD friction modifier in your rear differential.

Not needed. I’m far from an Amsoil fan but do yourself a favor and get Amsoil 75w90 in the squeeze bags. Unless you’re using an electric pump out of a drum it’s the easiest way to fill a diff. My local Coastal store carries it for $16 a quart, not much more than Mobil1.

Any 75W90 synthetic diff fluid will be fine. No need for any LSD additives.

Stock diff's are open diff. No need for LSD additives. Stick to what Toyota calls out.
