FYI...JBL w/ Entune and navigation on '17 Platinum....I am having volume issues when I switch stations between AM/FM/XM inputs. I've finally figured out that it appears each input has it's own volume level. If I'm listening to an XM station with the volume at 24 and switch to FM, the volume changes to whatever volume level the FM input was last using. This is very annoying. Why would I want different volumes levels between inputs? Is there anyway to turn this "feature" off?

Good question. Even the non JBL system does that. I don't recall seeing an option about that but I find it kinda annoying too.

No way around this that I've found.

It's basically because I have to turn it up a little louder for XM vs for FM. So if I have it at say 45 for XM, if I did 45 for FM, it would be crazy loud.

Could honestly have something to do with that.

SiriusXM sounds like trash in our trucks imho. Bluetooth sounds just fine though, so does HD radio.

I don't think this is related. Let me give you the following scenario...

I'm jamming Lithium on XM at volume 40 on the way home (pretty loud). A song I don't care for comes on, so I switch to FM and listen to a local alternative station. I have to turn the volume up to 40 to get it loud. As I pull into my neighborhood, I turn the FM volume down to 10-15 as a courtesy to my neighbors. I turn off the car. The next morning, I turn on the radio and my local alternative station is playing at 15. I then change to an XM station, and it changes the volume to 40 and I nearly throw my coffee all over the front seat.

It seems like a ridiculous feature.

Yeah. I imagine the receiver is treating each input independently. Annoying but seems to be the way it is from the research I've done.

Yeah, in that scenario, it makes total sense and probably would be good all around to just keep what you had it at before you got out. I guess they are looking at it from the other side. If you are jamming it loud on XM and switch to FM, it doesn't blast you out or blow a speaker, ha.. Since XM signal isn't as loud.

The audio settings are also different for each function...bass, treble, etc etc

I noticed this as well. This is actually a nice feature.
