    One of the features I really like about the Diamondback is the ability to open or close the cover and open or close the tailgate completely independently of each other.

    You do not have to open the DB Panel before opening the tailgate. Mine has been on for at least 3 years without any sign of wear.

    I just use soap and water and if I use a quick detail spray I will use the same towel (As I used to wipe off the quick detail spray) to dry the cover if it is wet (So the towel does have some detail spray on it)
