Just curious, my truck has the factory stone guard coating below the doors. Is there any precautions I need to take when detailing? I assume a polish can't accidentally remove this right? Any problems removing the wax residue from this area? Just better to avoid the area instead?

Thanks. I didn't think there would be, but wanted to double check.

No, just treat it like any other body part of the truck.

Stone Guard is basically textured paint. For the record, I hate the way it looks, but it was on my truck when I bought it. Polish will not remove it.
