Delivery again...

Curious, do your sales reps give you delivery date once your build date has passed? My build date was 12/1... Even if delivery is January, I figured they'd at least be able to give a date? Trying to figure out the process...I hate this waiting game.

 

Mine only gives me the same estimated available date as the SET site gives. Went through this with my wife's Rav4 Hybrid about 4 months ago and the date bounced around a lot. At one point they added three weeks and then the car was dropped off at the dealership two days after that. I think its a guessing game until the vehicle is on the lot.

 

When the order turns to "in transit" you should get a delivery date within a few days. Mine was built on the 28th and was given a delivery date of 12/23 thru 12/27 and then it moved up yesterday to 12/18 thru 12/23.......

It was sent to me by my salesman.......I would call yours and ask. Good luck....I think the world is going to pot. Why would Toyota roll out this marketing program......treat customers like they're the least of your concern.
I worked hard, bit my tongue and took crap my whole working life only to be treated like crap spending that money earned....still,

can't wait to get this truck..lol

 

My sales guy gave me an original delivery date of the 12/23. Then he moved it to 12/13, Then he received confirmation that the truck was absolutely built on 11/29th. They updated the VIN and give him the delivery date of the 23rd of December. I will keep you posted

 

My saleslady said mine was built 16NOV2021 and last week said my estimated delivery date was 21-27DEC2021. St. Louis Area. Not sure if she will provide any additional info until the thing hits the lot.

 

It definitely shouldn't take that long to ship from TX to MO. In fact, I am surprised they haven't told you that it is on their lot already.

 

Would not be surprised if some dealers don't notify the buyers right away. Would like to keep the truck around as long as possible to show to potential new buyers, maybe even give a few test drives. Would pi$$ me off.
