I have had my Deaver U748 springs with Total Chaos shackles and Icon RXT shocks on since June of 2020. They have recently developed a popping sound when accelerating in first gear when springs compress. Upon inspection of the springs it appears there is metal on metal contact near the rear of the leaf, basically the end of the second leaf down is contacting the top leaf where it bends. I have checked torque on all rear suspension bolts, any other insight or advice appreciated. I emailed Deaver about the issue but haven't heard back yet.

Here are a couple pictures I found of another user's truck to show what the springs should look like.

    Update:
I still haven’t heard back from Deaver but I took the springs off this weekend and put the stock ones back on. After taking everything apart I noticed the passenger side spring was missing one of the isolator pads but the drivers side isn’t missing and it still looks like it is contacting the top leaf. I ordered new center pins and u bolts from Deaver to try to fix issue before removing but ended up just pulling them instead. Frustrating since they’ve only been on for less than a year.

No response after a month? I'll never understand that.

I even called and the guy gave me the email address of their spring designer because he said their general email has 12,000 unread messages and they just can’t get to all of them. It’s a bummer because the springs really did ride great until they developed this issue.

Well I’m no leaf spring designer or expert but these springs seem pretty poorly designed and bound to wear out quickly. The spot where the spring isolator pads on the second leaf down rub on the top leaf is curved to it wears out the pads extra fast and unevenly. I took the springs apart to replace missing/worn out pads and after seeing this design flaw, I don’t think I am going to put these back on my truck. Back to the drawing board... Custom springs?... Icon RXT?...
Seems like a $1000 set of leaf springs should last longer than a year....
