Anyone else not impressed by the piano black trim used everywhere in the interior?

Looks like this press model is already showing scratches around the shifter trim.

Hoping this is just a preproduction piece, but seeing the usage of gloss black interior trim everywhere else in Toyota’s lineup I’m not holding my breath…

I am especially fond of the way all that shiny interior stuff reflects the sun into my eyes while I'm driving.

That piano black trim is definitely ripe for some vinyl wrap. It does look like it'd be easy to vinyl wrap, once disassembled.

The biggest offender to me is the black wheels. My neighbor has a 2018 Dodge Caravan RT with factory black wheels, so I already know it's uncool.

Please bring back silver painted wheels Toyota! (Saw that the SR-5 base trim had normal silver wheels, if I get a Tundra with black wheels, I'm gonna trade someone for those silver wheels!)

If i see any gloss black pieces like that on whatever vehicle i get, it's getting some clear paint protection film.

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
How about some aftermarket trim pieces in a nice high polish chrome?

The wife would really like a generous helping of glitter on the interior trim, so when she gets out of the truck, she'll look like she just finished handling all the birthday cards in a Hallmark store.

    Female covered in glitter?

Sorry dude, but no one thinks a gal with glitter on her has been handling greeting cards.

    LOL.
