Dc camper same size as ac?

    pardon my ignorance but if they state the access cab camper is 6.5 feet would it fit the double cab as well?

    The AC truck beds are slightly longer, less than an inch if I remember right but the DC bed sides are about 3 inches higher if that makes a difference.

    My camper shell was made for a double cab but fits my A/C. Mostly. It's slightly wider and there is a gap in the front so it leaks a little. I've been able to make it work. If you don't want a single drop of water in, I would avoid it. I used a piece of pipe insulation to fill the gap in the front.

    I circled the areas where the gap is. None of these are visible from the outside. My shell is an ARE V Series.
