so my daytime running lights were yellow and I know they're supposed to be orange/amber. That's what they were when I got the truck. I bought orange bulbs that are 4w not 5w because they were out of stock at auto zone. I put them in and within a week, the color of the light went from orange back to the yellow. The guy said the wattage doesn't make a difference. What's the deal here??

I wonder if the new bulbs have a coating over the clear glass that's fading with the heat. I've always purchased amber bulbs where the glass is colored rather than simply coated. Just an idea....
