I need advice on how to remove this dash side panel. I’m almost certain it just snaps in place. I’d hate to break it. 7F6A34A6-0B0F-4C65-A742-860ADB826B05.jpg

You can use your hands to pop it off. Really easy job. You can also pull the molding to get a better grasp of it if needed. The molding just pulls off and presses back on too if that helps you.

Remove the kick panel then just pull that exposed piece from the bottom. It’s just clipped in.

I believe on my truck this is where the factory remote start is mounted. That's what the other persons/pics bolts should be. Mines a 2014 1794.

Also the proper way to remove the side panels, is to gently pry the front edge that faces the rear of the vehicle, then once that pops out, pull slightly rearward. The front of the truck edge of the panel has tabs that slide into the dash. Super simple.

BTW this panel really gives you access to nothing, except the above mentioned factory remote start module mounted on the passenger side. Might be dash bolts in there or something, but that's probably for major dash removal anyway.
