I like where this is going...

Everyone seems to love those STT pros. And those wheels should look great.

Love my STT Pros in 295/70/18. They killed my gas mileage for sure, but they have earned more than their keep on muddy roads that my old KO2s would have been useless on. They look awesome as well.

Any reason for the 295s over the 305s?

305/70? I went with 295s mainly because I knew it was already gonna be close without doing a BMC. I also got a great deal on the 295s (about $235 a piece).

If you are serious about it, get the nmo mount with it.

Just looking into it, all I saw was their 305 70 listed as their 35? And I found them for 233 a piece also so that's looking to be the route I'm gonna go. Gonna do the Bmc just to have the extra clearance. Pretty much the only reason I was considering 35's

New wheels and tires are on. Slight rubbing on body mount so the alignment is going to be adjusted tomorrow.

No, I've been told it's not needed with 295/70/18 tires. Chatted with Bryan and he said the caster needs to be adjusted since I had smaller tires on when everything was installed. He's going to make the adjustment tomorrow for me.

I'm sure Bryan can fix you up with the alignment, but I say just chop it.

It can be "fixed" with alignment but you're sacrificing caster. I would save the money for the alignment and do the BMC instead, but that's just me.

Bet you the 4x4 shop in Livermore can do them. JP has some Relentless plates he’s not going to use. Actually you can pick mine up and I’ll get them from jp. Better than sacrificing caster.

:anonymous:If the body mount is the issue, aligning it to clear is a win. You gain caster. Moves bottom ball joint forward.

In the end I will do the bmc. Just can't do the bmc now.

Can someone explain the pluses and/or negatives of getting the caster adjusted?

Thanks for the correction, makes sense. For some reason I was thinking the top of the spindle moved forward but that's obviously not true cause the caster adjustment is in the LCA.

Some house work done on some plastic today. Had slight rub while in reverse after caster was changed. All fixed now

Marks on the body mount were from before the caster adjustment was done
