    Hi everyone!

So, I messed up and need some guidance.

I was installing a new radio, and it all went well. Minus the satellite radio cable.
Silly me decided to try and hack the satellite antenna cable, thinking it would then fit in the Sirius radio antenna (turns out I simply needed a converter kit).

Basically the connection end of the antenna cable is busted. And I can't use the satellite radio part at all.

Couple of options. Get the cable end fixed (maybe at a dealer? or by myself some magical way how) or I could run the antenna to the outside of the truck (which feels so wasteful given I have one in the truck, albeit broken).

Any thoughts on how I should best proceed?

    Thanks for any help!

Why not just buy a regular xm antenna and mount under the center speaker?

    Welcome to the forum.
Could you post pics of what you ended up with?

If you still have the bare connection, it should plug into the satellite tuner.

But that being said, I hardly use my tuner anymore.
I listen to Sirius/XM off the phone app running thru Carplay, bluetooth would work as well.
