All OEM parts arrived safe from Fred Anderson  they package items nicely.

    -diff breather pieces
    -ATF 12qts for 2 D&F
    -0w-20 9 QTS & filter
    -new instrument cluster glass
    -Land Cruiser HVAC motor
    -differential plug F & R w/washers
    -TRD air accelerator
Now to find time to get the transmission cooler installed along with some of these other things. There’s currently Valvoline ATF in there, so I wanted to do 2 changes to make “sure” I’m not mixing fluids. A 3rd may be in order

On a night drive to feel out the new shoes. The front could use a couple shims, or maybe some PRO Fox coilovers :anonymous: window tint wouldn’t hurt as well.
    IMG_7614.jpg

I’m definitely a fan of the new look, time to install my parts haul & stop spending money for a littleIMG_7619.jpg

Well, the passenger side vinyl decals lasted precisely one adventure due to me burying it in snow temporarily. I’m glad I went with the stickers instead of taking freshly refinished wheels into the mountains.

Bummer about the decals but at least it's an easy fix. Also was intrigued to see the 4lo difficulty. Definitely not something I would have anticipated either myself consider 4lo usually deactivates everything that normally handicapping a truck. Guess I'll have to anticipate an OTT tune now.....darn. There is always a learning curve figuring out new vehicles and their capabilities, though it looks like the snow iced over under the tires which isn't an easy situation to deal with.

How do the 295s feel vs stock 20s in general driving around. I am very hesitant to get greedy with the size of my next set of tires, only to than feel like I want to regear. Otherwise it looks awesome! I do agree tho, tint and a TINY BIT of front height would round it out to perfect.

It could just be me, but i definitely felt a lag when shifting from R-D or D-R and trying to quickly gas out. Overall no harm done besides the wheel vinyl & 2 tiny scrapes on the bottom of my bumper, and yes it was definitely slick & part frozen under that first layer of snow.

The 295 E load take bumps at highway speeds far better, as well as standing water. I was in heavy rain going into the mt. and kept bracing the wheel when coming up on puddles, expecting the truck to be unsettled or hydroplane slightly, but it never happened. Take off may be a tiny bit more sluggish, but it also seemed to gain some pull from 3-5k rpm. There really isn’t much change in how the truck drives compared to the 33” K02, but I can feel it’s wider now. Gas mileage is definitely a bit worse around town, but verdict is still out on how much. Overall I’m definitely happy with the change still

Driving around like 2face now. It doesn’t look bad with the silver spokes, but still want all 4 wheels matching asap :anonymous:IMG_7687.jpg

Thanks for the feedback. Figure it's so fresh in your head it'll be pretty relevant comparison. I'm likely over analyzing it since I have nothing better to do right now as it is. Too many options and the forum is nothing but bad influences everywhere.

Is it easy to swap the "instrument cluster glass" ? I may need to do it. What is the part# on that item please? That's gen 2.5 right?

I haven’t gotten to replacing it yet, but here is the part # I used for my 2019 - 83852-0CS90
that was confirmed by my VIN to be the right one, after getting the wrong item in my order originally.

Need to detail these asap, but I like the touch of red to match the sway bar. All wheels have been returned to the oem finish. IMG_7713.jpg

Negative. I could see dirt building up around the seams and starting to lift the drivers’ side, so I just pulled it all. I think it would be great for a truck that isn’t in wet weather, the mountain roads have this nasty red rock that doesn’t help either. Could also be I’m not the best vinyl installer

Bummer. That was a bit of effort to install em, would have hoped they lasted a little longer. Live and learn.

It was a fun bit of time spent with my daughter, no worries here. I honestly would prefer a matte finish to the gloss anyways. I’m thinking some 18-21 pro bbs wheels would be perfect, eventually

Got the tow hooks painted, skid plate trimmed and painted flat black, and cleaned up the front sway bar along with applying classy chassis to it and the crossmember.

Looks good! Are you using spacers for the wheels? I’m currently trying to decide on tire size with the same wheels you have.

Thank you:thumbsup: I bought a set of 1” Bora spacers from another forum member as insurance for fitting these 295s, but ended up not needing to use them. Cutting the sides of the skid plate a bit was all I had to do, and the edge of the tire is almost perfectly flush with the fender so I decided to leave it.

Great to know, thanks. I have found some good deals locally on some 305/70/18 Bronco takeoffs but have been nervous about the fitment. May stay with either the 285/75/18 or 295/70/18 depending on which i can find for a better deal.

Someone was just talking about the 305 tire size the other day, here is the post
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/305-70r18-on-stock-trd-pro.168701/#post-4174401
I like both the 305 & 285/75 size, I’m not sure what I’ll go with once the falkens are worn out.

Probably right, I assumed they were broncos as have seen them stock. Not sure what these were off of then.

Thanks for that as I missed that thread! Those are the tires I was looking at as well so I might be okay without the sway bar. Sorry to derail your thread!
