Built my own under seat storage for my crew max. Added some LED lights which are triggered by the dome light circuit. Then had it professionally bed lined for impact, water resistance and a better overall look.
Cost me around $200 CAD for everything including some new tools.
Boxes are slightly larger than the ESP one and that bed liner makes it far more durable.

Approx. box sizes are as follows:
    Passenger 9.5” x 13” x 4.5”
    Center 13” x 13” x 4.5”
    Driver 11.5” x 13” x 4.5”

Also if you look close I cut down the interior box sides which gives me one large box around the perimeter. This is handy for long thin items like a snow brush or collapsed fishing pole etc ...
    I couldn't be happier !!

Looks good! It must be pretty heavy with it being wood and lined.

Oh my god no lol, not at all !! Not even half a sheet of ply wood and the coating is only a few mm thick. Id say less than 20 pounds for sure. I easily carried it with one hand and little effort.

Sell me one? I like it, very nice work!

What I like is you make better use of the vertical going up higher than the ESP one.

The only other suggestion I'd have (not that you need to do anything to it at all) but if you can figure out how to add some sort of tray where the two seat supports are (the high spots) just to place small things and prevent them from rolling/sliding into the larger areas maybe? OR do the ESP mod to remove those brackets altogether then you'd have one large space you could use dividers to create whatever size space you needed?

The sad part to all of this is the MAJOR waste of space Toyota has given us in lieu of some worthwhile storage!

That looks great. You do a better job of using available space and the integrated lighting is very clever.
It is true that reproduction using wood might make the shipping and your labor cost prohibitive, but you could consider this:

pull the 5.7 emblems and make a fiberglass cast(s).
That would be tough, light, and the end user could choose a finish and put their own desired emblem in (consider that some folks have the smaller engine).
Just something to consider if you did want to reproduce these and possibly make some coin. I think you would have a lot of takers.

I for one will be modifying my ESP unit and adding leds, shamelessly borrowing from your ingenuity!

If you did make plastic or fiberglass blanks at a competitive price, I would probably be in that line....

And a great way to reuse the stock emblems. I still have mine laying around in a box somewhere...Would the “Tundra” logo fit on the sides or is too long?

Any chance you'd be willing to provide a detailed cut sheet with diagram? I am sure there are many of us who would be willing to pay for the plans to replicate this. I am just not handy or confident enough in my ability to tackle this on my own without screwing it up and paying for twice the amount of materials needed

I'm in a similar boat, but I also know two master carpenters that I could probably get to build it for me for some Mountain Dew and Doughnuts. :D

I really appreciate that but I was just measuring and designing as I went. I didnt write anything down other than some rough measurements. Its really easy to just take a tape measure and go to your truck and plot it all out. Make a cardboard template first and that way you wont waste material. Sorry I cant be more helpful ....
