    Nice, that will be a cool update. Do the 01 have mesh inserts in the bumper like the 03 does?

    @Darkness
    No siree, going to be using a good amount of JB Weld and Bondo. I didn’t even know the 03+ had that... lucky bastards.

    You can make a stone guard out of some hardware cloth (have pics on my build page) or order some more of that mesh and bend/break it yourself. I’d use some Fuze to adhere your mesh to the ABS plastic. Stays flexible, yet strong and sticks goodly.

    Appreciate the tip. That Fuze liquid nail goop right? In the tutorial they’re using Valvoline’s Plio Grip for filling in cuts as well as adhesive.. stuff is pretty expensive

    I used the Fuze to affix my stone guard. I tension fit it in place and then caulked it.

    My mesh grill, which is a different design than yours, is screwed in via some clips attached to an outer built in frame surround. I’ll post up some pics from my build page.

    Ready to go.. materials all below. Minor question, you’ll see the two bolts that attach to the lift latch were done for. One deteriorated in half still inside, the other was just rounding to the point where I just rounded up the plastic opening and pulled the grill off on its own. Any advice on that? Just doused both in PB..

    Junkyard is your only recourse. This part is discontinued, but you can still obtain the bolts.

    Gotta say this is definitely a tedious and time consuming job.. but gonna be worth it when done, probably Monday due to the hours of JB weld to cure..
