Our stove shit the bed and the new one wont be delivered until the 14th of this month. Pretty cool electrical fire at the control board.
I need some tried and true crockpot recupe help. I used them before, just haven't actually cooked meals in them.

That's a real bummer. At least you caught it before it became a real disaster!
Toss a chuck roast, a packet of onion soup mix, some canned crushed or stewed tomatoes, some chopped onions, some chopped (hot and/or sweet) peppers, some beer or red wine or canned beef broth, dried herbs and S&P to taste. Cook on low for at least 8 hours. Once it's done, there are tons of variations that you can do to it. You can shred it and serve it on rolls, using the juice to dip into. Or near the end, you can toss in some diced potatoes and serve it in a bowl. You can add whatever other veggies you might want to.

If it's available at your grocery store, Stubb's Hatch chili, I use a boneless skinless thighs, street tacos, I get the small corn tortillas, grill up some sweet onions (I like em caramelized), bushel of cilantro and crumble cheese

No recipe here either, I just throw stuff in. Trial and error.

Cube some beef and cut up kielbasa, throw in Crock-Pot with favorite veggies. Add some tapatio and Bam! Spicy stew.

I'm in with the whatever group.

Chicken and can of cream of chicken soup, throw some rice in about 30 minutes before you want to eat. Same with pork chops and cream of mushroom.

If it's not enough you can do a whole roaster with potatoes and veggies.

Pork roast and a can of beer or soda, shred after 10 hours and add your favorite bbq sauce.

    Pot roast
-Sprinkle Aus Jus and Ranch packet on top (about half of each packet)
-Put a stick (or half stick) of butter on top, unmelted
-place about 6-8 pepperoncini peppers on top of pot roast, spread out
-surround with cut up potatoes and carrots
-add a little water, just enough to cover vegetables

Put it on low and let it go 8 hours.

I second this. Chicken or pork works very well with the Stubbs slow cooker packs.

Take 7-8 dried chiles (mix of California, Guajillo and Ancho) with seeds removed. If possible, toast them in the oven for a few minutes at 375.
Soak the chiles in HOT water for about 20min.
Add chiles and half the soaking liquid (1.5 cups?) and the items below to a blender and puree
    • 1 onion (Quartered)
    • 1 can diced tomato or sauce
    • 1 tbs cumin
    • 2 tsp mexican (or italian) oregano
    • 2 Tbs vinegar
    • 1-2 tsp salt (you can adjust later as needed)
    • 1 Tbs sugar
    • 2 tsp black pepper
Pour mix into crock pot (or instapot) with 2-3 cups broth (beef, chicken... whatever) and 2 bay leaves
Add in 2-3 LBS stew meat (I also like to add in about 1lb beef neck... its super cheap and the bones add flavor). If possible, brown the meat on a grill for a few min on super high heat to get some color/flavor in it.

Cook on high till tender (shreds w/ just a fork). 6 hrs in crock or 45min in pressure cooker Adjust salt level as needed. If it is kinda bitter, add some sugar.

Serve in a bowl w/ the juice... topped with diced onion and cilantro and maybe some Crema (sour cream)
Tortillas/beans on the side if you so desire.

You could also just pull the beef, shred and add to tacos etc. Use a little sauce to keep moist though.

Get some chicken breasts, package of ranch and a bottle of wing sauce , not hot sauce. 8 hours on low, shred , throw on some Kings Hawaiian rolls, Bam! Or throw some nachos or kettle chips , throw on some of that shredded chicken and nacho cheese, perfect football snack
