Rear shocks are original TRD Bilstein. Plan on 3 hours of labor plus an alignment for a shop to do the work. All in it cost me $800 but I figured my truck is worth it!

Nice set up, I just purchased the bilstein 5100's for my Tundra. Going to install next week. How's the ride? Did you need to add a block to the rear?

I went with highest setting on billstein 5100 up front and stock billstein rears. No shackles. Still rides great and able to fit 295/70/18 ridge grapplers on stock wheels.

This truck looks bad ass with all the chrome and those wheels. Black is the only way to pull this off.

Crewmax leveled with 5100's at mid setting and 1 coachbuilder shim and 1 inch rear block. It's settled a little since this picture but happy with height, I think it's perfect for stock rims and tires.DqCd6AIUSD6MCaI4WduD9A.jpg

295/70 slipped right on? No trimming up front, stock rear?

Stock for now, but have TRD Rear Sway bar for it.
How is the ride or how did it change the feel of the truck with the new shocks set on highest setting. I am thinking same set up only middle setting with a CB spacer so not so much pressure on spring. Thanks.

I did remove the small Mudd flap at the front of the wheel well and I trimmed the skid plate edges when doing the install just to make sure I had room at full lock out. I have had no rubbing on any street or light off-roads.
I think the ride softened up suspension wise in the front and I run the tires at 40psi all around. The best thing I did to improve the ride of this truck was adding a rear sway bar last week. It makes a huge difference in turns and would recommend it to everyone!

Well, that is the downside! I live in Western PA and driving local is always up and down hills. I have a heavy foot and interstate travel is usually around 80mph.
With that being said, I get about 12 mpg local and 14 highway lol. I've tried to quit worrying about gas mileage and just enjoy the power this truck has when I tromp on the go pedal!

With you being in VA you would probably do a bit better. Maybe a couple mpg better if you dont have a heavy foot

I am not sure how people are getting better than 12 mpg. I get 12 almost no matter what. Driving around town, 80 on the freeway, etc.... I just figured that's what you get in this truck. Better than my dodge which was at 10 no matter what.

Over here in CA, with mixed driving on my first tank with LT 285/65R18, I still managed 16MPG.

5100’s all the way around. Highest setting in front. 1” blocks in back. Also added the front and rear TRD sway bars. Now my stock tires 275/55/20’s look ridiculously small. Have to fix that. Only had the truck a few weeks. Did front tint and ceramic all around. Have color matched mirrors and handles on the way. Thinking of dipping my wheels black.

Love it. Looks great. I have close to same set up. I'm gonna get a rear sway bar too once I do the other shocks. Why did you do the block in the rear?

Thanks! Rear shocks aren’t adjustable. I went with Heavy Metal Suspension 1” blocks. Got them on Amazon for 65.00.
