My door makes two loud clanking noises when I open and close. Like it's forced into two slots before opening or closing fully.

No misalignment and it's not rubbing on the front quarter panel or hitting the door latch wrong?

Dealer had recently (90 days ago) replaced by power door vacuum lock assembly.

    Ideas to quiet?

My rear doors made a somewhat noise at two spots. Sort of where the door shifts itself to where it stays open. I looked at the hinge and if you look closely it’s an odd shape but it has two main spots that once you open it past those, it’s sort of like a bulge to keep it from closing. Maybe some wd-40 there????? Not sure if this is what you’re talking about but I just left it alone to let it work itself out during use.

Check the 2 bolts on both the door and the 1 on the a-pillar extension to ensure the hinge brackets arent loose.

If you cant figure out what I'm talking about, let me know and I'll take a pic.

Same issue on my 09 Taco and happened on my driver side front door on my Tunny. Easy peasy fix.
