Can one get crank sensor out with out pulling cross support. Does not seem to have room. Sensor hits gear box.

pretty sure its out in the open.. but I'm 2wd... Its on the engine block side and shouldn't make contact with the gearbox...

It does hit gear box. Is there a trick to get around it.
