With my gym and everything else closed I figured it was time to make an investment.
Scored a Cybex arc trainer, got the floor put down, and bought a Hoist V5 home gym with leg press. It’s the kind you find in some nicer hotel gyms. Found out everything was sold out online so I check a local commercial fitness store.

300lb stack, functional cable attachment, leg press, commercial quality In stock and on the floor. I’ve been training my whole life and it’s pretty impressive the things you can do on it.

Also got a 5-100 dumbbells and rack, flat bench, and adjustable incline bench.

gym and weights get delivered installed on Friday, can’t freakin wait.

they wanted $5900 for the gym, talked em down to $5200 installed.

smith machine coming eventually when I can find one on Craigslist for cheap once the pandemic is over.

I invested in a No-Mar tire changer for my motorcycle to put in my garage. That’ll be a great work out a few times a year.

Nice! I started mine when our gym was about to go out of business. I don’t know if your looking for a rack or possible replacement for the smith(depending on what you wanted that for) but Sorinex is making a wall mount rack for like $300 shipped. It’s nowhere near comparable to their normal stuff but this rack was built to get people lifting again. If your interested it’s called the Off Grid rack.

Our gyms are back open but so many people are there because they are bored. The groups of people standing around one machine talking and it just happens to be the one you need. They are working each other in so you can wait 30 min for it to open f that. Ill wait a couple more weeks until those people are gone. Almost as bad as the New Years resolutions people. You know they will be gone in 2 to 3 weeks haha. that gym set up you got is legit my wife and I would love to have it but don't have the space right now

HELL yes. You heard the man.

*runs out to gym to lift weight so as not to be hypocritical* :D

On a serious note, I've been blessed; live out in the sticks and I've got a shed with little to nothing inside it, so I've got a fold-in squat rack, bunch of weights, Concept rowing machine (the ones you see in CF boxes), and inside I've got a smart bike trainer. Been getting good use out of it - have actually LOST about 15# (though I need to lose a good 40# more) in the last 2 months. :)
