I'll start out by saying I am a huge tundra enthusiasts but I'm not a handy car guy or into mods, hence the question:

Roughly how much would it cost to replace all the chrome on a 2021 TRD OR? I'm interested in getting a 2021 army green TRD OR but I dont think it will go well with chrome so would want to change out the grill, bumper and whatever else there is thats chrome.

Secondary question are these mods something toyota dealerships regular do on your behalf? For a price obviously.

Please don't hate me for suggesting I pay someone else to do the mods for me. I dont mind getting my hands dirty i just lack the skills and tools to do the work myself.

    Thanks!

Pull the chrome caps and have them powder coated to match.

Never had any powder coating done. You have a ballpark price on the front caps and rear bumper?

seems like powder coating prices is very region specific...I could imagine it would probably cost less than it would to do a wheel, so maybe $100/cap?

If you have an old oven you don’t use anymore something small like endcaps can be powder coated in your own garage

You can easily switch all that yourself, but cost will add up. Handles will be cheap and easy. Bumper will be more involved and expensive. You can go to a Toyota parts website to price out the non chrome parts.

thanks all. If its expensive I would probably just drop the idea. As in if the cost was more than say $1500. Not worth it to me simply for esthetics. I simply had zero clue if swapping out a bumper cost $100 or $2000 so just to get a ballpark helps.

    Cheers

You can get painted end caps for the bumper for I think $200-$300. I looked in to it but decided to just get an aftermarket bumper.

I called my local powder coating co and they said between 200-300 for the front and back bumper? Seemed too cheap to me?

I've been looking into this a bit in advance of getting a Cement Limited, I wound up ~$2500 to total chrome delete doing plug & play (having sparkparts paint them).

Note, I want to get the premium package, so the back bumpers aren't included.

Hey I am currently looking to do the same! Depending on the grill you want...
    TRD grill - 330
    Sensor cover - 285
    Mirror caps - 85
    Front bumper caps -600
That’s just for parts. I am going to reuse my Toyota emblem sensor cover and just do a platinum grill sense it is color matched and that will cut out the cost of the 285 sensor cover

Those prices are CRAZY. If you know your way around paint i would try order a paint matched aerosol and some good 2k clear. You can get very good results if you take your time and do some research into doing it. I did my own fender flares, I think all the paint and clear cost around 70 just because I got more than enough. As for the chrome if you prep it good and then hit it with a good etching primer it should hold paint fairly well.

I’ve been running my flairs for over a year now and haven’t seen any chipping. Even on the inside of the fender well. I’m happy to help anyone that needs help or questions

    Bilstein shocks, Tembren bump stops,
I swapped out my front end caps, hood buldge, and grill surround for $400. Local guy in So.cal removed my chrome parts and installed the newly painted pieces. This was for an exchange for my chrome parts for us. Basically you’re paying for the paint job. I’m sure there’s someone in your area that would do this! Good luck
