I have a 2022 Tundra 1794 TRD Off road Hybrid as well. Noticed the coolant leak this AM, pink fluid on garage floor. Running down the hose and coolant level was at low level. Dropped it off at the dealership today and will find out Monday. Absolutely unacceptable in a $70K truck with <10K miles.

I had one in my 1 month old 2022 in November at 1300 miles. The service manager said a connecting rod associated with the expansion tank was the culprit. Said it looked like a home made part. Replaced the tank, rod and a hose. Parts took several days so it was out of commission 8 days. 2 months later and issue has not returned. The earliest by far I have ever had an issue with new vehicle. Fingers crossed a one off. Reported to 1-800 Toyo. The guy from Nigera on the other end did not give a damn

Thanks for the input! I was not happy! I’ll share with my service advisor.

My 2022 failed me at 4400 miles. Coolant had been leaking since I drove it off the lot and no indicator warned me on the dash. Took it to dealer, they told me I had a blown head gasket. Here I am 6 months later in a lemon suit against ol'reliable toyota corp. Good luck to you guys, I really loved the truck.

Curious to hear where it's leaking from. It looks like it's leaking higher up in the system since it's running down the hose. However, it also looks like it's weeping from the top of the hose connection. I wonder if the clamps are just not seated properly at both ends? That's what it looks on my XJ when my clamps came unseated (I hate those cheap pinch-style clamps BTW).

Could be similar to the recent issues with Tesla's and Hyundai's where they had repairs completed prior to delivery and they were missing bolts during the reassembly process after the repair. Maybe they had to unseat the hose for something and it was reseated correctly.

On a side note: External coolant leaks are much better than loosing coolant without an external leak.

There have been a lot of QC holds for all manufacturers during the supply chain period. Makes you wonder if there is some "Chuck Newguy here is a bag of parts go fix that try row of vehicles on hold in the back lot" causing quality issues

I have a 2022, 1794 4 x 4 Trd the dealer mentioned to me when they did the last oil change they had out cooling leak. They order the part I took it in today and they told me the notice there was another leak coming from the engine base so they’re waiting for manager for Toyota headquarters to take a look at it Hopefully does not turn into a lemon lawsuit
