So idk if it’s just me I searched and didn’t find it on here so maybe I’m not the only one that doesn’t know! Driving up to big bear at night I had my highs on, coming around a blind corner at the same time a truck passed and my high beams went off, I thought hmm and then back on. I caught up to a car and they turned off again, passed him and they came on again. Pretty rad going all the way to the cabin and not worrying about having my hand on there to turn them on and off! I have a 2019 sr5 idk what models have it but prob something to do with the radar. Anyways pretty sweet function!

There is a button to the lower left of the steering wheel for auto high beams that will turn this off and on.

It’s nice in the country but doesn’t really help in the city.

This is hilarious, honestly. I had a 2014 tacoma and loved it, went to a dealer to look at 4runners for my wife, and some how I left with a new tundra, we crunched numbers on a 4runner and they threw in the tundra and Tacoma because we needed a 4x with room. Well it was about what I was paying for my taco and the price they gave me for my truck was ridiculous, I didn’t even plan to get this truck. If I’m being real I had complete buyers remorse when I got it I missed my tacoma so much. So I’m appreciating it more and more.

Yep. I’m not a fan of it either. It’s too sensitive both ways. It either turns off when not necessary, or stays on too long and blinds oncoming cars, especially around corners or if the road is curvy. I don’t use it.

Auto high beam assist is a great feature. I love it on mine.
