Console safe self inflicted wound

Just want to say hi. Picked up 2021 Tundra last week & I love it! Had my son help set console safe combo, (I’m disabled & hands don’t work well). Anyways my son wrote combo down but we cannot unlock it. Any suggestions? Damn it man.

Which safe is it? OEM Toyota?

 

Yes factory installed.

 

It is not the locker down safe. Not sure brand, it was installed in San Antonio.

 

My Toyota safe has a key for just this reason. Does yours have a key?

 

If yours is like mine, you have four numbers..so that is 10,000 possible combinations. Systematically try 100 different combinations every day. In less than four months you will find the correct combination. Statistically speaking probably 50 days. Thinking about it it would not take very long to try 100 in a day. Just start at 0001 and go from there. Make your son do it!

 

Toyota should be able to help you out with that???? Hopefully?????

 

Call a locksmith and hand your son the bill.

 

You can also try to narrow it down to what your son THINKS he set it at, then try variations around that (those?) numbers, like if he chose 5555, try 5554 or 5556 and so on. He may have just been looking at it from a bad angle.
