UPDATED: The FRAC Harness Trailer Video Kit

    I have completed the design for my Trailer Video Kit! It's an "add-on" mod for use with the FRAC Harness to add your trailer camera video (or any other rear cam video) to the FRAC circuit.

    I'm building my initial kits with the few parts I have received so far and I'm writing the Installation Manual today. Here's an excerpt from the manual...

    "The LG Technology Trailer Camera Kit is an easily installed upgrade for your FRAC Harness that enables two rear camera inputs. Through use of our Video Switch Module (VSM) and Trailer Cam Select switch you can control which of the two rear video inputs is the default input to the FRAC Harness, and switch between them at any time. The selected default video will display when shifting into reverse or when the “Rear” view is selected on the FRAC Camera Front/Rear selector switch. You can use either a wired camera or wireless camera receiver output as your video source."​

    I wasn't sure exactly where to post this since it is related to the topic of both trailers and video. But I have recently seen a big increase in requests for a trailer cam mod to the FRAC Harness, so this seemed as good a place as any.

    Yes. As long as your AFtermarket Head Unit was installed with plug and play adapters, the FRAC Harness will work just fine.
