    Hey all,

I just upgraded from an 2005 Tacoma to a 2015 Tundra and am super stoked to get going on customizing to my own personal tastes but would love some input and suggestions from the experienced folks here.

    Nice to meet you all

    Mike

    Thanks All.

Sick Pro Shellshock. I'm looking to get a nice suspension setup in the spring. Its Bilstein's right now which I like okay for now but would like probably 2-3'' lift so that I can do what my Tacoma could. The Slee sliders look badass. I will reach out to them. Thanks for the input

Looks fun, where's that at? I'm heading to Colorado in a couple weeks, hoping to find some trails.

depending on where you are going, there’s a good chance you could run into snow at higher elevation

Picture was taken on Saints John road
    https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/443-saints-john

We then did deer creek to complete the loop. You’ll spend all day over 10,000 feet and quite a bit over 12,000 so I would definitely recommend a couple days to acclimate first as altitude sickness is no joke and you are pretty remote.

When we were out there we did:
old falls road / trail ridge road
    Stillwater pass
    Loch lomand
    Saints John
medano pass (part of it to camp spot)

If you have any questions, let me know

Saints John. It’s in the general area of red cone. Red cone was on the list but by the time we got to the end of Saints John, it was already late afternoon and I’d rather not spend the night exposed at 12,000 feet

    Thx

I’ve been very happy with the sliders from slee. I had them put on in their shop, they expected 4 hours for the install and the truck rolled out at 3:57. They drilled the holes and welded on the rear mounting tabs. They’ve got a nice new building with an area you can hang out which is what I did.

I’ve beat on them pretty hard a few times and the powder coat has held up REALLY well, just a few tiny scuffs

    Welcome from Western Massachusetts.

There are a lot of good options for lifting/leveling the front to get the 2-3" you mentioned. All depends on what you plan to do with it and how much you want to spend. I have been researching this a lot and when I do my suspension, I will be going with the Falcon shocks which give you about 2" - 2 1/2" in the front and the rear shocks have a knob that lets you adjust the firmness if you are towing. Only a few members on here have them as they are fairly new for the Tundra, but the limited feedback I've seen is good.
