The wife and kids will be at the condo in Beaver Creek this next week, so it is time to have some "me" time.

A crew from Denver is coming down and we are all going out to Penrose, Colorado to run Independence Trail System.

I have an extra seat in the TJ, but most people like to walk the trail. Up to you. We can meet out in Penrose, at my house, and I have 3 seats in my truck if a small Colorado group wants to come. I am kid and dog friendly, so no issue there. I take my own kids on this trail.

So if you wanna have a little fun, PM me or email. Some of you have my phone number and then just text or call.

    jeepingcolorado@gmail.com

    Things to bring:

-hiking boots. No Jesus shoes. You will kick your own ass...trust me.

-gloves. Just in case you want to help out.

-snacks, drinks, lunch...etc. you can bring adult beverages, I personally don't give a crap, but the Forest Service guys do that frequent the trail. Adult decisions with adult consequences...

    - time to run the trail. We have ran the trail system in a really short time, and other days it just sucks ass.

-In no way am I inviting anyone to attempt this trail with their Tundra trucks. You do that, I'm pulling out the video camera.

    This is the trail:

Hell, in CO it has been summer still.

This will be one of the first years my wife will not be snowboarding up at the condo.

We are literally just getting first snow now... I don't hate it. But I don't love it. Now I've gotta winterize the toys and find something to do with my free time. haha

So if I told you I was bringing some Dasani water, would that help your decision?

Damn, that's probably the offroad equivalent to riding in that two seat Indy race car with Mario Andretti. I can't believe someone hasn't jumped on this yet.

I'd love to go but this weekend is the last chance to bag a Buck and get some more grouse. Sunday is the end of grouse season and the end of the second rifle deer season. That's definitely a bad ass "trail".

Good trip. Maybe some of you will come out to the New Years Day run out in Buena Vista. Last year was -29*F with open rigs. Yeah, I bailed on that one.

So we had no carnage, plenty of buggies out. I was the only full bodied rig.

So my buddy had an oops, but still drove out of this.

I need a new power steering pump. My steering was a chore on Sunday. With full hydro I should break shit before my steering stops.
