Yeah, the vinyl wrap is much cheaper. I think @Sean266 did the vinyl wrap on his. I had mine sandblasted and painted and it wasn’t cheap either.

I see that came out with quicksand vinyl. i wonder how good it looks in person. How much do we need to wrap the bumpers?

I also have the color MGM on my truck and was thinking that I would just use some black wrap on the bumper corners. My only fear was that it would not be the same shade of black as the middle sections of the bumper.

I will be curious to see what you guys think of this OEM color matched wrap. I hope you all have good reviews because I would like to wrap it in the same color of my truck. I would love to buy OEM painted bumpers but I'm running out of money...LOL!

I've ordered 3 different samples of Silver vinyl trying to match the Silver Sky Metallic and while they are close, none are a perfect match. Maybe, I'll try one more time with Color X labs.

Well @sean-andres I would like to give it a try so I can post feedback for other members. Let me know the best way to order. I will try a 3' X 5' sheet of 1G3

@nowayout please let me know your thoughts on the wrap when you get it on your truck bumper. If possible please post photos. Would like to know how well it matches the MGM color we both have on our trucks.

@sean-andres I will def be ordering this wrap from you if it gets a good review and looks good on @nowayout truck!

I will be watching this thread to see what people say and photos they post.

    Thanks for replying!

Wow, $45 for a sample ... how big is the sample? I've received some small 5" x7" sheets before and believe I paid under $10.

or am I messing something up?

Yeah it seems a little pricey for a sample.

Has anyone tried this wrap yet? Would love to get your thoughts and see some photos if possible. Especially in the MGM (1G3) color.

I wrapped my stainless running boards in Orafol 970RA "Gloss Charcoal Metallic Coll Grey 937" It's fairly close to the MGM. When I sampled, I got a sample of the gloss and the matte finish. The gloss is close and the matte is not at all close. It was strange how a little gloss makes a difference.

Finally got around to wrapping my rear bumper. I will say doing this was way harder than I thought it would be. Took me over 5 hours to wrap the rear bumper.
If I was to do it again I would pay someone to do it. Which I was quoted $250 locally to wrap it with me providing the vinyl.

I've used an Avery metallic vinyl to try to match silver sky. Close but not exact.

@fisherman951 I ordered the 3x5 sheet. I only did the rear as I powder coated and painted the front. I would say there is enough left to do the rear again.

@nowayout do you think 3x5 would be enough for the front and rear?
