Color coating TRD wheels

Can TRD wheels be color coated to match the TRD PRO wheels? Looks to me like they are the same rim with a different finishing. any thoughts?

 

same wheel can be power coated to any shade

 

I just changed my TRD wheels up a bit and put the TRD Center caps in for a little more of a black look. I like it! And it was a cheap mod.

Thanks! New cap. @Roman can get them for you through his website. I can't remember how much I think they were between 13 and 16 bucks apiece. Look on the site and look up parts for the TRD pro and you can order them. He's got great prices.

 

They made a nice difference.

 

Powder coating is the best way to go, but if you want something much cheaper to do and a little less permanent, you can always plastidip them.

I keep reading about plastic dip. I have never used it. Is it durable?

 

They're very durable on emblems. On wheels, most people seem to say they last at least a couple of years. I've had mine for almost a year with no problems.
